District 58 Calendar
On January 26, the Board of Education held its annual Financial Workshop, a key step in planning for the upcoming school year. District administrators shared an overview of District 58’s current financial position and long-term outlook.

Be sure to read this edition for important information about preparing for the 2026–27 school year, including registration opening Feb. 13, preschool open house details, Kindergarten Round-Up dates, and updates on the middle school transition to a 6–8 model.
District 58 students in grades 1–6 showcased hands-on experiments, creative thinking, and a love of discovery at the annual Science Fair.
The District 58 Board of Education will hold a Financial Workshop on Monday, January 26 at 7 p.m. at the Downers Grove Civic Center.
