The District 58 Board of Education will hold a Regular Business Meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. at O’Neill Middle School, 635 59th St., Downers Grove, IL 60516. The public may also view the meeting remotely, via the District’s YouTube channel.
The agenda covers many topics, including:
- A Henry Puffer School presentation
- A spotlight on District 58’s fall assessment results
- A discussion on the progress of District 58’s referendum projects
- A presentation by the Illinois Association of School Business Officials (IASBO) awarding Assistant Superintendent for Business Todd Drafall with the Director Scholarship for his service on IASBO’s Board of Directors
- A recommendation to approve the District’s 2024 School Maintenance Project Grant application.
- A recommendation to approve 2025 employee health insurance rates and the approval of a new life insurance vendor
- A recommendation to appoint Emily Hanus as delegate and Melissa Ellis as alternate delegate to the 2024 Illinois Association of School Board Delegate Assembly
