Sneak Preview Date Change to Aug. 9 & Aug. 12

Sneak Preview Date Change to Aug. 9 & Aug. 12

Dear Incoming Seventh Grade Families,

We look forward to welcoming your soon-to-be seventh grader during the upcoming Sneak Preview middle school transition event next month!

District 58’s construction crews have been working hard this summer to complete the first phase of the middle school renovations. The work is progressing well and will be completed on-time for school to start. However, to ensure our students’ safety and give our construction crews adequate time to wrap up their work, we need to change the dates of Sneak Preview.

Please note: Sneak Preview will now take place on Friday, August 9 and Monday, August 12. It will no longer occur on August 6 and 7. This is the only change. The session times remain unchanged, and transportation will still be available for session 1 at Herrick and session 3 at O’Neill.

We realize that families have planned ahead to accommodate these dates, and we appreciate your flexibility and understanding. If students are unable to attend (one or both days) Friday, August 9 and/or Monday, August 12, there is no need to worry.  We will work with all students on their first day to make sure that they get acclimated.
