The Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58 recently held its 1st Annual Bougie Bingo, an event that was entertaining and beneficial to the District 58 community. With more than 180 attendees, the event was a huge success and raised $10,000 in net proceeds. These funds will go towards various grant programs and recognition events for the students and teachers in District 58.

The event was a great success due to the hard work of event co-chairs Drew Nastal and Becky Nelson and fellow Education Foundation board members. A big thank you to WGN Radio Host/Chicago Blackhawks Announcer, Jon Hansen, who was our guest emcee and host. Also, DJ Dirty from Cadence Kitchen & Foxtail restaurants kept the audience dancing and made the bingo games exciting.

The Education Foundation sincerely thanks top "Classy" sponsors, ServiceMaster Restore and Roadrunners Soccer Club. A big thank you to our "Deluxe" sponsors, State Farm - Jonathan Twitty and Fringe & Foil Salon, and our "Amuse Bouche" sponsor, Shine Pediatric Dentistry.

A round of applause is also deserved for local vendors including Milky Milky Ice Cream, Lukumadness Donuts, Dirty Dough Cookies, Cadence Kitchen, Foxtail Downers Grove, Foxtail on the Lake, Kerwell and Pierce Tavern, who provided generous prizes, making the night even more memorable for all attendees.
