The District 58 Board of Education will hold a Regular Business Meeting on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 7 p.m. at Downers Grove Village Hall, 801 Burlington Ave. The public may also view the meeting remotely, via the Village of Downers Grove’s YouTube page. After the meeting has concluded, the Village will process the video and send it to District 58 to be posted on the District’s YouTube channel.
The meeting agenda covers many topics, including:
- A flag salute by Pierce Downer students, and a Pierce Downer presentation.
- A spotlight on the 2021-22 School Environment Survey.
- A discussion on key performance indicators.
- A recommendation to approve Indian Trail’s playground fundraising plan.
- A recommendation to purchase 36 Cisco switches, the associated Cisco accessories and licenses, a SonicWall security appliance, and the associated high availability security appliance for $164,060 from Sentinel.
- A recommendation to purchase 3,760 perpetual Jamf School licenses from Jamf for $65,800.
- A recommendation to approve a three-year contract for Seesaw for Schools for $60,750.
