The District 58 Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting/Financial Workshop on Monday, April 25 at 7 p.m. at O’Neill Middle School, 635 59th St. The public may also view the meeting remotely, via District 58’s YouTube page. After the meeting has concluded, this live stream will be saved on District 58’s YouTube channel.
The Financial Workshop will provide the Board and community an update regarding District 58’s financial health and budget forecasts. The Board will also vote to approve the District 58 2023-27 Financial Plan. The District presented an overview of the Financial Plan during the April 11 Board meeting.
The Board will also vote to approve new principals for Henry Puffer and Kingsley schools, effective next school year.
The Board will offer community members a 30-minute extended public comment period regarding the financial presentation, during which time they may engage in a two-way conversation with Board members.
How to make a public comment during the meeting:
The Board encourages public comment from the community. There will be an opportunity for in-person visitors to make a public comment. Members of the public may communicate with the Board at any time by emailing boe@dg58.org.
