Dear Sixth Grade Parents and Guardians,
All of us at Herrick and O'Neill Middle Schools are excited to meet our new students for the 2020-2021 school year. We invite all of our sixth grade parents to join us for our Sixth Grade Parent Night at the appropriate school.
Because of the current requirements for social distancing, we will not be able to hold our traditional in-person Parent Night.
Both Herrick and O'Neill will instead be sharing a virtual presentation with parents. This is the same format we use for our in-house night and will provide parents with all of the information typically presented.
The presentations will be shared with parents via email on Tuesday, May 5. Additionally, the presentations and all associated handouts will be posted to the Herrick and O'Neill websites on the evening of May 5.
Finally, students also have a chance to participate in our Sneak Preview program, sponsored by the Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58, in mid-August.

- Select your child’s name from the drop-down menu; if it’s not listed, select “other” and type in name.
- Select school.
- Select a session.
- Click “Register” to submit (or “Add” to register a second child).
- Email confirmation will be sent to the email address provided.
