Herrick welcomed Rep. Anne Stava-Murray this afternoon to serve as "Principal for a Day," which is an Illinois Principals Association program that connects legislators with schools. During her visit, Rep. Stava-Murray talked with students at lunchtime, read a story to students that contained social-emotional learning themes, and observed students as they investigated their peers' plastic usage and sustainability practices in Science class.
