The Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58 thanks the many parents, employees and community members who made a Green Apple Award donation in honor of a District 58 teacher or staff member who has made a positive impact on their and their children’s lives. Since January 2019, the Green Apple program has raised more than $1,800 to support the Education Foundation’s programs, which include Teacher Grants, Distinguished Service Awards, Select 58, The Reading Games and more.
This school year, 50 District 58 employees received a Green Apple Award. Each recipient received a Green Apple Award card, with a personalized message from the gift giver, delivered by Superintendent Dr. Kari Cremascoli or the building principal. In addition, the Green Apple award winners will be acknowledged throughout this summer on the District’s Facebook page. Congratulations 2018-19 Green Apple Award recipients!
