District 58 invites students to continue learning all summer long

Downers Grove SD58 News

Reminder: Last day of school is June 11 – it’s a half day for students!

Downers Grove Grade School District 58 reminds families that the last day of school is Tuesday, June 11. It is a half day for students. Elementary school (grades 1-6 and OKEEP) will dismiss at 11:40 a.m. and middle school will let out at 11:53 a.m. Half-day kindergarten students will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. as usual.

District 58 wishes its families a safe, relaxing and educational summer vacation. The District encourages all students to set aside time to read and practice math a little each day.  At least 20 minutes of reading and 10 minutes of math practice will help keep young minds active and learning all through the summer!

A great way to practice math is by signing up for the District 58 PTA Summer Math Club! The club is open to current elementary students and is designed to keep math brains strong all summer long. Students can earn fun prizes throughout the summer! Elementary students will receive Summer Math Club information from their teachers this week. Interested parents can also learn more about the club via the below links:
