District 58 is in the process of developing a Facility Master Plan to guide our future facility decision-making. To inform our planning, we want to hear from the community. Please get involved – your input will help shape the future of our District 58 schools!
As we shared in Communicate 58 last week, District 58 invites the public to attend a facility planning community engagement session. The sessions will take place:
Facility Planning Community Engagement Session #1 Tuesday, May 21 from 6-6:45 p.m. at O’Neill Middle School
Facility Planning Community Engagement Session #2 Wednesday, May 22 from 6-6:45 p.m. at Herrick Middle School The District’s Facility Planning Council and the Instructional Model Review Council were formed this school year through the District’s Strategic Plan. During the meetings, the Councils will review the District's facility planning guiding principles and key drivers, its study of the feasibility of grade 6-8 middle schools, and an overview of facility work needed in our elementary schools. The same information will be presented at each session. View this Facility Planning School Board Update to learn more.
Throughout the District’s Master Facility Plan development process, there will continue to be additional opportunities for community engagement and feedback provided.
