Dear Prospective Member,
The Education Foundation invites you to attend a Prospective Member Open House on Wednesday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Cadence Kitchen, 5101 Mochel Drive.
The Education Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of diverse business professionals and community members who are passionate about supporting the Foundation’s mission to enhance student academic and skill development; encourage educational innovation and creativity; and to support a school/community partnership.
We are seeking community members who share that passion and possess the energy and commitment to lead the Education Foundation and raise the necessary funding to support our District 58 program initiatives.
This prospective new member open house event invites any community member who would be interested in serving the District 58 school community by becoming a representative board member on the Education Foundation. We are seeking representation on the board from each of the District 58 schools as well as Grove Children's Preschool. The diverse experience of these new members will enhance the board and our offerings as the Education Foundation. These additions will support our strategic vision to provide new opportunities for our members to market, develop and connect with the Downers Grove school community. Our mission is to address challenges and present opportunities for our members to grow. This is made possible through the guidance and dedication of our board.
