English learners at Highland School enjoyed a special guest reader yesterday! A Highland mom visited and read the picture book, “Nadie Como Tú” in Spanish to the students, while her children, Isabela and Diego, read the English version of the same book!
English Language Learner Teacher Michele Crowley reported that the students loved reading books aloud in their two languages – English and Spanish.
“It was a special day!” Mrs. Crowley said.
