Downers Grove Grade School District 58 congratulates the five middle school students whose four Science Fair projects will advance to the Regional Science Fair. The regional fair will take place Saturday, March 9 at North Central College in Naperville.

- Taran Sooranahalli, O'Neill eighth grader: “How does the shape of a water turbine affect its ability to produce hydroelectric power?"
- Zaara Haque, Herrick eighth grader: "Initiating global cooling: Could dissolved salts modify the freezing point of water?"
