Downers Grove Grade School District 58 invites parents of soon-to-be kindergarteners to attend Kindergarten Roundup at their future school this March and April. Kindergarten Roundup gives parents the opportunity to visit their child’s future school, meet the principal and staff, and ask questions.
Children who will be five years old on or before Sept. 1, 2019 may attend kindergarten during the 2019-20 school year. Parents are encouraged to directly call their neighborhood elementary school prior to Kindergarten Roundup for information about registration.
Parents may visit www.dg58.org/kindergarten to access the District 58 Kindergarten Resource Guide. This guide includes school boundary maps, kindergarten registration information, immunization requirements, kindergarten curriculum information and much more.

*Due to recent enrollment growth, Highland’s incoming kindergarten class will be capped at 56 students. Currently, Highland School kindergarten enrollment is below the cap, meaning there is still room for additional kindergarten students at Highland. District 58 held a future Highland parent meeting in December and mailed a postcard to all residents living within the Highland boundary area with Highland kindergarten registration information.
