District 58 Institute Day tomorrow is canceled due to inclement weather. School and district offices will also be closed.
We have continued to monitor the weather and the impending snowfall throughout the evening. At this time, a decision has been made to cancel the District 58 Institute Day tomorrow. All events in District 58 are canceled for tomorrow, with the possible exception of the Board of Education Financial Workshop and Candidate Forum scheduled for tomorrow evening at Kingsley School. No employee, except members of our buildings and grounds teams, are to be on campuses tomorrow without administrative approval. A decision regarding tomorrow evening’s Board Workshop Meeting will be made by noon tomorrow, pending weather and road conditions.
The administrative team will be discussing scheduling options for making up the Institute Day and the impact on the school calendar later this week. We will follow up with details as soon as they are available.
