Happy Halloween! Pierce Downer enjoys a unique Halloween tradition: the Haunted House Competition! For the past nine years, Librarian Lucy Elford has invited PD students to create a shoebox-sized haunted house diorama. Some students really get into the activity, starting over the summer and devoting hours to their creations! This week, the dioramas are on display in the Pierce Downer library. Each class will visit to view the haunted houses and vote on their favorite.
