Downers Grove Grade School District 58 residents will elect three individuals to serve four-year terms and one individual to serve the final two years of a four-year term during the April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election. These seats are currently held by John Miller, Doug Purcell, Elizabeth Sigale and Kirat Doshi. The Board appointed Mr. Doshi to fill a vacant Board member seat this summer, and the final two years of this term will be up for re-election this spring.
Prospective candidates may learn more information and request a Prospective Candidate Petition Packet from the DuPage County Election Commission at www.dupageco.org/Election (select “Candidate information”). The first day to begin circulating petitions was Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018. The period for filing nomination papers runs from Monday, Dec. 10 through Monday, Dec. 17, 2018. Nomination papers must be filed with the DuPage County Election Commission at 421 North County Farm Road, Wheaton, Illinois 60187.
