The Downers Grove Children's Choir performed its spring concert on Wednesday, April 26. The choir comprises three grade level choirs with fourth, fifth and sixth graders from all District 58 elementary schools.
For the spring concert, guest instrumentalists from Herrick, as well as Mr. Norm Rick, Mrs. Kim Knickerbocker and Mr. Dave Balika also performed.
The concert included a special tribute to Music Teacher Mr. Norm Rick, who is retiring after 34 years at District 58. All three choirs, plus many alumni and parents, united to sing "Here's to Song," Mr. Rick's favorite song.
