Tricia Miller, a Belle Aire sixth grade teacher, earned an Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58 grant this school year for the "Put a Lid On It" kit. This resource teaches students how helmets work. Students use biomechanical engineering to design their own helmet for a crash test dummy.
