It's Chemistry Day at O'Neill! Bloom Trail High School (Chicago Heights) students visited to lead an experiment in Dr. Van Dyke's classes today. Using a mix of soap with glycerin and natural gas, they (safely) lit students' hands on fire. This sparked conversations on the power of chemistry. Very cool! (Or should we say hot...)
