Annual bragging rights game also offers music, raffles and more

Downers Grove Grade School District 58 invites families to its annual Crosstown Classic on Saturday, Feb. 25 in the purple gym at Downers Grove North High School, 4436 Main St. The series will offer families a great opportunity to cheer on their favorite middle school as the Herrick and O’Neill boys’ volleyball and girls’ basketball teams play each other! Please note the game schedule:
3 p.m.: Eighth grade boys’ volleyball
4 p.m.: Seventh grade boys’ volleyball
5:30 p.m.: Eighth grade girls’ basketball
6:30 p.m.: Seventh grade girls’ basketball
The Crosstown Classic will also feature special guest announcers, concessions, the “Locker of Awesomeness” giveaway, the “Best Fan Award” announcement and several fantastic raffle prizes, including a trip to Chicago with hotel and dinner included.
Admission is $5/person or $15/family. Guests may purchase tickets at the door. Raffle tickets cost $5 each and will be sold during select lunch periods at both middle schools, as well as at the event. Event proceeds will support the Herrick PTA.
