This year, Henry Puffer started a Girls on the Run team that brought girls from third through sixth grades together for 10 weeks to inspire them to be happy, healthy and confident through running and other fun activities.
This international organization's vision statement is "We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams."
"These girls were amazing and I think they all had a lot of fun along the way!" said Henry Puffer parent Tracy Weiner. "Their goal, a 5K, will be realized this weekend at Grant Park on Saturday along with all the other GOTR chapters in the Chicagoland area."
