Every District 58 school held activities or discussions about the significance of Veteran's Day. Here are photos from Whittier Elementary, where students gathered to point out their loved ones on the Whittier Wall of Heroes. Family and staff shared memories of loved ones who served in the armed forces and on Friday, Nov. 10 families and students toured the hall to view the display. Also pictured is the assembly at Henry Puffer where student representatives introduced and honored veterans – loved ones of Henry Puffer families – and gave background on their service. District 58 congratulates and honors all veterans on their service and sacrifice!
