District congratulates 2020 retirees

Downers Grove Grade School District 58 congratulates its 18 employees who will retire this school year. Together, this group has provided District 58 with 429 years of dedicated service. District 58 thanks its retirees for their numerous contributions and hard work, and wishes them the best in all their future endeavors!

  • Mari Sitkiewicz, Belle Aire instructional assistant, 22 years
  • Linda Vanacora, Whittier fifth grade teacher, 18 years
  • Alice Shoup, Henry Puffer instructional assistant, 17 years
  • Doreen Arlow, Lester fifth grade teacher, 16 years

Due to the pandemic, the District 58 Board of Education has postponed its annual retiree celebration to the fall.
