Fitness & Intramurals
Designed by Mrs. French for students grades 1-6. Please see “Fitness” page for intramurals details and dates.
The bi-weekly Panther Pacers program is designed to keep kids moving during their lunch recess. Twice a week (Wednesdays and Fridays) during the Fall and Spring months, students can walk/run/skip around a “track” to earn tokens. Eight laps around the field is equivalent to a mile, and for every mile students complete, they are awarded a token. Special tokens are awarded for milestones such as the 5k, 10k, half and full marathon. Please let your students know about this fun program and encourage them to stay active as the weather begins to cool. We also need parent volunteers to run this program! Duties include setting up cones, writing down who participates, and recording the laps completed. If you are interested in helping out on Wednesdays or Fridays, please contact PTA Chairperson, Ziba Irvin at email@example.com.
PTA-sponsored Photography Club is for students in grades 4th-6th. The club is being headed by Mrs. Kehm and a few parents. The club will meet once or twice monthly, with the goal of teaching your child some basics about photography, expanding their creativity, and having fun!
