All submissions for the Young Author’s Contest are due to the library today. Please see Mr. Berger if you have any questions.
On Monday, February 25th Holocaust storyteller and author Marsha Skrypuch will be visiting Herrick. All 8th grade students will be having a special assembly. However, all 7th & 8th grade students are welcomed to meet Marsha and get a book signed by her in the library. Her books “Making Bombs for Hitler” and “Stolen Girl” are both on sale in the library for $8. Please stop by the library to learn more about Masha’s books.
Debate Club will be meeting today after school in Ms. Tartag’s room. Haven’t attended before? That’s okay, we always welcome new members!!
Reminder to all students and parents: Tomorrow, Friday, February 15th, is a non-attendance day for students. There will be no school in session Friday. Also, Monday, on February 18th there is no school as it is President’s Day. We will see students back at school on Tuesday, February 19th!

All students participating in the Spelling Bee need to turn in their permission slips to Mrs. Winthrop in room 209 today. All those participating in the Bee – meet in the cafe by 3:20 today. Good luck to all of our spellers!
Student Council will be selling candy during lunch periods tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday. All proceeds will go towards the Spring Dance.
